Marquez Takes Top Malaysian GP Rating

Quotidiano Sport awarded Marc Marquez a score of 10 after an uncontested solo victory in the 2026 Malaysian Grand Prix. Published from Rome on 1 November 2026, the report concluded that the world championship is practically secured by the rider, who controlled proceedings effortlessly from the moment the starting gantry switched to green. Competing without rivals and devouring the Sepang event in an instant, Marquez achieved a fluid race free of obstacles that bordered on outright monotony as he closes on the MotoGP title at Sepang.

Acosta Passes Pole-Sitter Alex Marquez

Pedro Acosta received an 8 after finishing directly behind Marquez. The review highlighted that Acosta accomplished this aboard a KTM that is not quite a Desmosedici, earning applause for a ruthless attack to take position from Alex Marquez. Alex Marquez was credited with a 6.5 mark despite starting from pole position. Although he produced a strong launch on the opening lap to challenge his brother and led the battle behind him, he later suffered under Acosta's moves, prompting the assessment that he could have achieved more from the front.

Bastianini Nips Bezzecchi After Ogura Scrap

Enea Bastianini collected a 7 by displaying championship tenacity and the handling of a former world title contender, managing his run before edging Marco Bezzecchi at the very last moment to secure half a dream. Bezzecchi scored 6 as difficulties descended upon him in the closing stages. Having held hopes of a podium finish, Bezzecchi became locked in combat with Ai Ogura, who earned a 7. Ogura turned extremely fast in the second half of the grand prix, where the duel ignited his pride and produced three on-the-limit braking efforts and overtakes. Bezzecchi was ultimately betrayed by tyre wear on the final lap, rounding out a bitter Malaysian contest.

Zarco and Marini Extract Maximum Results

Johann Zarco and Luca Marini each gathered marks of 6.5. Zarco avoided errors and delivered front-running pace in brief periods, achieving the maximum possible aboard a small Honda. Marini was applauded for his technical finesse and dedicated riding style, continually attempting to stay as close as possible to the fastest competitors.

Bagnaia, Morbidelli, and Quartararo Endure Low Marks

At the lower end of the ratings, Francesco Bagnaia, Franco Morbidelli, and Fabio Quartararo each experienced another Grand Prix to forget. Bagnaia received a 5, with the assessment noting his on-track result justified an even lower rating, though granting respect for his battle on a Ducati that has not suited him for a prolonged duration. Morbidelli was awarded 4.5, with the outlet suggesting he might have switched focus ahead of a final farewell to MotoGP, describing his performance as light years away from his exciting past outings. Quartararo was given a 4 amid an ongoing eighteen-month decline for Yamaha, observing that even one of the championship's strongest riders finished the race in the shadows.
