EICMA Debut and Superbike Presentation

CFMOTO France has presented the V4SR-RR at EICMA 2026 in Milan, unveiling what the company describes as the most advanced superbike it has developed to date. Alongside the standard machine, the manufacturer showcased the Carbon Black, a dedicated track-focused exhibition motorcycle that CFMOTO highlights as the most extreme interpretation of the V4SR-RR platform.

Powertrain Specifications and Performance Figures

The presentation in Milan marks the latest milestone in a development timeline that began when the engine first appeared in 2024, followed by an initial prototype shown at EICMA in 2025. According to reporting by Motociclismo, the production-specification V4SR-RR is powered by a 997 cc V4 engine that produces more than 210 cv and revs up to 15,000 rpm. CFMOTO announces an approximate dry weight of 180 kg, achieving a power-to-weight ratio of less than 1 kg per cv, alongside a top speed of 315.82 km/h that was verified by GPS in June.

Active Aerodynamics and Chassis Equipment

In its standard form, the V4SR-RR incorporates an extensive range of high-specification equipment, combining independently controlled active aerodynamics, Öhlins suspension, Brembo brakes, an Akrapovič exhaust, and Pirelli tyres. The accompanying Carbon Black concept pushes the package further toward competition, featuring bodywork crafted almost entirely from carbon fibre, a black finish, and an aerodynamic profile inspired directly by MotoGP machinery.

Competition Components and Event Schedule

To complement its composite construction, the Carbon Black track exhibit receives mechanical hardware sourced from racing applications. According to the brand, this version is fitted with a titanium Akrapovič competition exhaust, components from GILLES Tooling, and an STM dry slipper clutch derived from MotoGP. CFMOTO is displaying both iterations at stand 152 in hall 10 under the motto 'Next is Now' through November 8 at the 83rd edition of EICMA, an event expecting over 500,000 visitors.
