Interlagos Livery Reveal
Audi has unveiled a special livery for the Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix, which takes place this weekend at Interlagos. Created by title sponsor Revolut, the bespoke visual identity for the Audi R26 draws inspiration from São Paulo and celebrates Gabriel Bortoleto’s participation before his home crowd.
Piso Paulista Design Across Operations
The visual concept extends beyond the cars driven by Bortoleto and Nico Hülkenberg. Audi will also equip its drivers and mechanics with exclusive overalls and introduce custom garage decoration, with every element sharing a geometric pattern inspired by the traditional Piso Paulista paving found across São Paulo sidewalks.
Partnership With Revolut and Adidas
The project is part of a joint initiative between Audi, Revolut, and adidas, building on earlier releases that included the Revolut São Paulo card and the Sampa Soul clothing collection. Through the new livery, the geometric motif developed for those products transfers onto the circuit, establishing a cohesive visual identity across the cars, team uniforms, and pit environment at Interlagos.
Significance for Bortoleto’s Home Race
The event holds particular personal meaning for Bortoleto as he races before a home audience, while teammate Hülkenberg will also wear the dedicated overalls featuring the event graphics. Audi Formula 1 Brand and Commercial Director Stefano Battiston explained that the initiative aims to represent the identity of São Paulo consistently across the team’s race weekend operations.
Consistent Visual Identity
Battiston noted that São Paulo possesses an unmistakable identity that the team aimed to integrate into all aspects of the event. He stated that Revolut's special R26 livery carries that story onto the track, continuing the theme established by the payment card and the adidas Sampa Soul collection while matching overalls and garage styling complete the shared creative language.
Partner Collaboration and Fan Connection
Highlighting the collaboration between the involved brands, Battiston added that each partner contributed distinct expertise to maintain an integrated identity. For Bortoleto's home race, he described the effort as a meaningful reflection of the team's identity and connection with fans as Audi prepares to bring the visual tribute to the Interlagos circuit.
