Milestone at Eighty Premier-Class Victories

Marc Márquez continues to add golden chapters to his premier-class legacy after reaching the milestone of 80 victories in Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The achievement places the Spanish rider within nine wins of matching Valentino Rossi at the summit of the all-time victory classification. Rossi maintains the top position with 89 premier-class triumphs, a historic benchmark that stood for years as seemingly unreachable before Márquez closed the distance. With 80 wins now recorded to his name, Márquez has brought the Italian legend's record under serious threat.

Dominance at Key Grand Prix Circuits

This milestone arrives along a trajectory filled with success and dominance at pivotal circuits throughout his racing journey. Venues including the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Misano in Italy, and the Sachsenring in Germany have historically functioned as personal strongholds for the Spaniard. Across these tracks, Márquez built a fundamental portion of his overall tally by securing almost uninterrupted victories over numerous seasons.

All-Time Top Five and Historical Podium

Behind the contest between the two leading titans of the sport, Giacomo Agostini completes the historical podium with 68 premier-class victories. The all-time top five winners are completed by two other major figures in motorcycling history: Mick Doohan with 54 triumphs and Jorge Lorenzo with 47. Casey Stoner occupies sixth place on the list with 38 wins, positioned directly ahead of Mike Hailwood, who stands seventh with 37.

Three-Way Tie Closes the Top Ten

The top ten rankings in premier-class history reflect both immortal legends and reference figures of the modern era. Concluding the top ten positions is a three-way tie of illustrious competitors, with Eddie Lawson, Dani Pedrosa, and Pecco Bagnaia each having secured 31 victories. Together, these riders represent distinct chapters and eras in the evolution of Grand Prix competition.

Active Premier-Class Race Winners

Beyond the top ten, the championship classification also highlights several active riders on the current grid with notable victory figures. Fabio Quartararo and Marco Bezzecchi both sit on 11 premier-class wins, while Maverick Viñales has collected 10 and Jorge Martín counts nine. Enea Bastianini follows with seven triumphs, Álex Rins has earned six, and both Álex Márquez and Jack Miller have registered four wins in their accounts. Aleix Espargaró and Franco Morbidelli each hold three victories in the premier class.

Further Winners on the Current Grid

A further group of four competitors on the current grid—Raúl Fernández, Fabio Di Giannantonio, Brad Binder, and Johann Zarco—possess two victories each. Finally, four riders conclude the statistical breakdown with a single premier-class victory apiece: Joan Mir, Fermín Aldeguer, Ai Ogura, and Pedro Acosta. Their presence caps a competitive table packed with established names alongside emerging talent.
