NDRC Announces 2027 Season Calendar
The National Drag Racing Championship has announced its 2027 calendar, establishing an eight-round schedule staged across premier tracks throughout the country. Across the 2027 campaign, the series will feature Top Fuel, Nitro Funny Car, Sportsman Racing, Top Doorslammer, Pro Alcohol, Pro Mod, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Bike, and Top Fuel Motorcycle.
Competitor Investment and Series Commitment
NDRC co-founder Andy Lopez commented on the announcement, stating that “Season Four is set to be massive.” Lopez explained that regardless of what category teams race, drag racing squads commit everything they have to competition, pointing to long hours in the workshop, travel demands, and financial investment. He stated that series organizers are committed to staging great shows and doing that work justice.
Trackside Experience and Live Broadcasts
Lopez highlighted that attending live at the track represents the absolute best way to experience drag racing, noting that Season Four offers spectators plenty of chances to be part of the action. For fans unable to get trackside, Lopez added that Season Four will again be broadcast live and free.
